This year, Hurley was the apparel sponsor at the J-Bay Open. Held in Jeffreys Bay in South Africa, it is one of the largest surfing events on the World Surf League Championship Tour. Our local Hurley team was at the event to provide fans with T-shirts, caps, beanies and stickers. Hurley also dressed all the TV commentators, who were live-streamed to millions of viewers worldwide.

Hurley Pro Surfer Filipe Toledo, a two-time winner and the current world champion was the favourite to win this event and after some nail-biting heats, Filipe beat Australian Ethan Ewing to clinch his 3rd J-bay title. A massive win for Filipe and Hurley!
